- WCS is the global standardization agency for statistics in snowsports. Its scope covers all statistics in snowsports, except those managed by the following federations
- WCS standards measure the performance in collecting skilifts, skiresorts and skidays. Standards to measure altitude, length of downhills and others are not developed. If you have an idea how
to do so please contact us!
- We use "Ski" as a synonyme to Skis of any size, Snowboards, Telemarks, Skwals, Snowbike, Snowshoes and all the other tools that allow you to enjoy snow. Each tool is treated equally.
- WCS looks for high academic quality, transparency and objectivity concerning all achievements in snowsports.
- WCS is independent from all the mentioned federations. WCS is a non-profit organization.
- WCS is an open community accredition agency, managed and runned by its members.
- WCS Members can be natural persons or the federations named above
